GYM MEMBERSHIP POLICIES
Last Updated: January 1, 2026
General PolicIES
These guidelines help keep the space safe, respectful, and running smoothly for everyone.
Access & Member Conduct
Access to classes, open gym, and member benefits is limited to active members and approved participants in good standing. Fight Vibes Academy reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or revoke access for unpaid balances, safety concerns, or behavior not aligned with the standards of the gym.
All members and guests are expected to treat coaches, staff, the facility, and each other with respect. Unsafe behavior, harassment, bullying, repeated disruption, misuse of equipment, or conduct that creates an uncomfortable, disrespectful, divisive, or unsupportive environment will not be tolerated.
We are committed to protecting the people and atmosphere of this space. One formal warning may be issued at our discretion, after which continued misconduct may result in suspension, termination of membership, removal, or a permanent ban.
Personal Training, Packages & Booking
Personal training sessions require at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations may result in loss of the session. No-shows will be counted as used. Late arrivals to private training sessions may result in shortened session time.
Packages and punch cards must be used within the listed expiration period and are nontransferable. Expired sessions are forfeited unless otherwise approved in writing.
Advance booking is recommended for classes. Members are responsible for canceling any reservations they can no longer attend. Late arrival may result in reduced participation or denied entry once class is underway.
Open Gym & Equipment Use
Open gym access may be limited by membership type, age, experience level, coach approval, or schedule availability. Classes always take priority over open gym use.
Equipment must be used safely, respectfully, and only for its intended purpose. Members are expected to return equipment properly, wear appropriate training gear, and follow all coach instructions at all times.
No sparring is allowed during open gym unless it has been specifically approved and is being supervised by a coach.
Sparring
Sparring is allowed only with coach approval and direct supervision. No unsupervised sparring is permitted at any time, including during open gym.
Participants must demonstrate the skill, control, and readiness required to spar safely. Required protective gear must be worn at all times. Hard sparring may require additional safety measures, documentation, and consent.
Fight Vibes Academy reserves the right to deny or stop sparring participation at any time for safety reasons, including concussion protocol, recent injury, lack of readiness, or unsafe conduct.
Minors may spar only with parent or legal guardian consent, coach approval, and required protective gear.
Where applicable, sparring participants may also be required to maintain an active USA Boxing passbook.
Cleanliness & Shared Space
Members are expected to help maintain a clean, safe, and organized training environment. Practice good hygiene, wear clean gear, wipe down shared equipment when required, and clean up after yourself.
Only closed beverages are permitted in training areas unless otherwise approved. Food should remain outside the training floor unless specifically allowed.
This is your home too — don’t trash it.
Guests, Youth & Waivers
Guests may attend only with prior approval and must complete the required waiver before participating.
All members, guests, and participants must have a completed waiver on file before taking part in any class, session, open gym use, sparring activity, or event.
Children must remain under the supervision of a parent, guardian, or authorized adult before and after class unless otherwise approved. Participation in certain classes or activities may be limited by age, experience level, or coach approval.
Photo, Video & Marketing
Fight Vibes Academy may capture photo and video content during classes, training sessions, and other gym activities for coaching, documentation, and marketing purposes, including use on social media, the website, and promotional materials.
Members who do not wish to be featured may make that request in person, and reasonable efforts will be made to respect it. Incidental appearance in general training footage may still occur.
Personal Belongings
Members and guests are responsible for their personal belongings. Fight Vibes Academy is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items. A Lost & Found bin may be available for misplaced items, but unclaimed items may be donated or discarded after two weeks.
Events, Scheduling & Updates
Clinics, workshops, and special events may have separate pricing, cancellation terms, and participation requirements.
Fight Vibes Academy reserves the right to update class schedules, coach assignments, programming, open gym hours, and facility guidelines as needed.
Membership, Billing & cancellation POLICIES
Membership & Billing
Membership dues are billed automatically on your designated billing date. A valid card on file is required unless another approved payment method has been arranged in advance. Missed or declined payments may result in suspended access until the account is brought current. Rates may change with prior notice and are not guaranteed to remain the same. Promotional, introductory, or special rates may be forfeited if canceled, changed, or allowed to lapse.
Month-to-Month Memberships
Please refer to your signed Month-to-Month Terms Agreement for full details.
3-Month Auto-Pay Memberships
Auto-pay memberships begin with an initial 3-month term. After that, they continue month-to-month at the same rate until canceled in accordance with the applicable cancellation terms.
If canceled during the initial 3-month term, the current billing month is nonrefundable. Any remaining unused time may be refunded on a prorated basis, with a $30 cancellation and processing fee deducted from the refund.
Please refer to your signed Auto-Pay Terms Agreement for full details.
Cancellations
Cancellation requests must be submitted through your member account, by email, or in writing before the next billing date. Requests made after the billing date are subject to a 3-day grace period. After that, a $30 cancellation and processing fee may apply.
Cancellation applies to future billing only. Any unpaid balance or charges already incurred remain due and must be paid in full. Additional cancellation rights may apply where required by California law.
Membership Freezes
Memberships may be placed on hold for up to 90 days at a time, with a maximum of 2 holds per calendar year. Hold requests must be submitted in writing before the next billing date, and the account must be current. Membership freezes are not available for month-to-month members.
Refund Policy & Payment Disputes
All refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Membership-related refunds are governed by the applicable Auto-Pay Term Agreement and General Cancellation Policy. Members agree to contact Fight Vibes Academy directly to address any billing concerns before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute.
